Time to pad up..One last fight!!

I (think) know all there is to taking computerized tests, I took the GRE 6 years back and did well in the computerized version (750-Quants, 750-Analys, 540-Verbal), I have a fairly good idea about the application process and do reasonably well in interviews (if I am prepared).

Anyway, I have started a new position after a couple of months of unemployment and I am back to focusing on my GMAT and my applications. I intend to make it for R2 for all my dream schools. So that's about it on my end.

PS: Picture above..My box of GMAT goodness :))..I really value the Critical Reasoning book from PowerScore..money well spent!

  1. I didn't see an email for you so I figured I'd just leave the comment here. First, I wish you the best in your b-school journey.

Second, I think you're reading WAY too much into a story about a bad date. I clearly stated in my blog post that I went out with the guy in order to give him a chance. The man showed up dressed like he'd rolled out of bed, didn't listen to my answers to the questions he asked me, and demonstrated that he has issues holding a job and paying his bills. Regardless of my opinion of him at that point it would have been rude to just up and leave since I'd agreed to have lunch. We had yet to actually do that so yeah, I had to get through that part of the date. I had to actually make a check in order to complete the outing. Seriously, the check was $42 for BOTH of us (mostly him). That's hardly milking a man out of ANYTHING (which was never my intention anyways).

It seems like you have a personal problem with me based on a situation that has absolutely NOTHING to do with you. One date does not obligate a woman to a man any more than it obligates a man to a woman. If things aren't going well just get through the agreed upon activity (for me, it was lunch) and keep it moving afterward. No harm, no foul.

Maybe we will end up at the same school. I think it would be interesting if we actually met one of these days.
